UPDATE – The LTE BlackBerry PlayBook has now also shown up at the FCC. The filing shows the LTE PlayBook has support for AT&T or any of the three big carriers in Canada. We previously told you that the 3G+ BlackBerry PlayBook was currently in production and still pegged for an April release. New documents from the FCC show it has successfully passed through the approval process.
The FCC filing only proves the tablet will have built-in HSPA+ connectivity. No further details were revealed to show if it has a 1.5GHz processor, NFC, and more as shown in the leaked spec slide. Nevertheless, this is a great sign that the new PlayBook is even closer to launch.
